Iain's Story
Initially playing my part in the global oil & gas commercial team I started working at Swire in 2017 and held various commercial positions across our Group function and the UK Business Unit. I played an integral part of writing the company’s diversification business plan into offshore wind and am now part of the team executing and delivering that business plan.
My 5 years at Swire have been rewarding and I’ve had the opportunity to learn from many great people. It’s great to work for a company that puts so much value on not only being a good corporate citizen through initiatives such as our sustainability policy, but value’s it’s people highly and provides the platform to learn, grow and succeed.
As our journey through the energy transition progresses, Swire Renewable Energy really is a company you can vision having a career with and I personally, am happy to be playing my part in our journey and looking forward to the next 10 years of opportunities.
Rasmus' Story
My diverse career with Swire Renewable Energy began in 2017 where I joined the HV-Service Department as a Service-Project Manager. In 2021, I progressed into a Project Manager role within Swire's brilliant Projects Department where I've had the opportunity to collaborate with many self-driven and hard-working individuals. I've adopted invaluable skills within this position whilst playing a key role in an array of projects that cover on-shore infrastructure, solar parks, and beyond.
In my time at Swire I've witnessed a fantastic collaborative approach throughout the organisation from engineering, to the sales and finance team. I've seen great examples of this amazing teamwork within the Project Manager role as I have been able to work closely with the Finance Department which has enabled to me to make the monetary aspect of these large-scale projects more efficient.
An exciting organisation that is continuously growing, at Swire you can expect a one-team approach as well as endless opportunities for personal development.
Line's Story
When joining Swire Renewable Energy as a HR Manager in January 2022, I instantly felt at home as everyone was so welcoming - it was the perfect introduction. The role gave me the opportunity to work across Swire's many departments where I've met an array of fantastic individuals whilst helping them with their HR-related needs.
In February 2023, I progressed into a Director role within Technician Services and have continued to develop my skills. Opportunities for internal growth and development like this is something that is emphasised across the organisation which is why there is such a high team-spirit amongst colleagues.
During my time here I've seen an organisation which continues to grow, and one that strives to provide the highest level of service to both customers and staff - I'm excited to see where else my career will develop at Swire.
