Can you establish and drive effective procurement and purchasing processes in accordance with business projects, plans, and strategic direction? Do you have a flair for creating strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders? Then you might be our new colleague to join Swire Renewable Energy on our exciting growth journey.
We are looking to expand our Operations team with a new colleague to undertake a variety of assignments within procurement and purchasing. You will be part of the Operations department, and you will be placed in our HQ office in Lystrup, Denmark or our office in London.
Areas of responsibility
To succeed in the role as our new Procurement & Purchase Specialist you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing internal purchasing processes within our organization. As this is a new hybrid role in the organisation, you must expect a strategic role within procurement but also a very hands-on role with purchasing orders processing and training. We expect the role to have a split of 70 % time used for hands-on purchasing and 30 % of the time used for strategic procurement when entering the role. This split might change over time.
You will be responsible for driving effective procurement processes in accordance with business projects, plans, and strategic direction, supporting both daily operations and enabling SRE’s scalability and growth.
On an operational level you will drive the implementation for purchasing processes applying purchase orders across the company and work with internal stakeholders, which requires you to know the purchasing process end-to-end and how this is processed in Navision, which is our current ERP system.
